Lynn McDonald

Lynn was born and raised in Jefferson County, and she graduated from Jefferson County High School in 1992. She married her husband, Jason McDonald, right here on the Courthouse steps in 1994! They have two children together: their son Jared and their daughter Summer, who both live in the county as well.

Lynn began working with the Department of Corrections in 2013 as an Administrative Assistant in the Medical Unit. In 2022, she began working at the Jefferson County Solid Waste Department as an Administrative Assistant.

Lynn joined our team in May 2024 as the Family Law Clerk. Her duties include child support issues, processing marriage dissolutions, initiating parenting plans, name changes, and adoptions. She highly enjoys servicing her community and helping others.
