Sherry Sears

Sherry was born and raised in Jefferson County, and she attends church locally, where she plays the piano. She enjoys spending time outside kayaking and swimming. She also loves getting together with her family, playing games, and having cookouts. She enjoys making others happy by cooking or baking for them.

Sherry started with the Clerk’s office in May 2002 as the Child Support, Small Claim, County Court, and Passport Deputy Clerk. Since then, she has learned every job, and as of September 2023, she was awarded the role of Chief Deputy Clerk. Since the beginning of her career, she has enjoyed working with the people of Jefferson County. It has been a wonderful opportunity for her to work in and for her hometown.
